The Limits of Science

There are definite limits to science and good science must have the following three conditions met:

Science must be:

  • observable
  • measurable
  • repeatable

Science cannot:

  • deal with moral decisions or value judgements
  • prove truth
  • prove universal statements (all, always, never etc)

Always remember what science is and what science is not.  Good science will use the scientific method and follow the guidelines listed above. If the scientific method is left out of the process the results are nothing more than garbage, that is JUNK SCIENCE.

Good science is observable, measurable and repeatable.
